Hey hey!

How is everyone going? Stressed? Tired? Bored? haha or a bit of everything?

Some of you may be aware of this already...EarthHour is coming up on Saturday the 31st of March.  And because i know you all love me very much, i'm urging you, yes YOU, to join in the campaign of simply switching off your lights for one hour between 7:30 and 8:30. (And tell all your friends too!)  It's a simple action if everyone takes part, sending a powerful message that we care about the future of the planet.

United we can make a difference!

So, some of you may think "what's in it for me?"  Well, if you sign up on the website, you go in the draw to win a TOYOTA PRIUS! HOw awesome is that?! I know i want one!

Ok ok..so some of you may also be thinking "what am i going to do for an hour of darkness?" Well, since it's saturday night, i'd be happy to organise some kind of outing (preferably in the city where we can actually witness this landmark event). So if anyone have any suggestions or would like to come along pls email back ASAP.

Macq had an eternal grey cloud over its campus whereas UNSW is forever bright. All this brightness has making my skin visibly dark. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG What do i do?? Why is the grass always greener on the other side?


Anyways, first week at unsw. Ahem. What can i say? I LOVE IT! v^^v myuuuu~

One of my lecturer is icy cold like Voldemort but i love him too because he teachers the ultra cool subject Understanding Design. Alice once said to me that sometimes she wish to give up on Architecture because it's so mentally stressful but then there are moments where something good happens and she'd be in love with it again. (Love-hate?) I think I finally understand what she means by that. Ok ok..so it's only the first week, but there have been moments when i ponder why i chose Planning.

And omg! All week I've been having the same conversation that goes like this:

Person X: So what are you studying?
L: Planning.
X: What's that?
L: Like, town planning, urban planning..you know..
X: O_o?

Man, i swear, Planning is THE MOST unheardof course.U_U I have a feeling i'll have to explain my profession for the rest of my life. pwahahaha
I was complaining about it to Amy the other night and she put everything into perspective for me (and everyone else out there): Architects design buildings, you design cities.

On completely different note, I found this on my photobucket. It's taken at Xi'an airport last year. They had a big plasma screen on top of the check in counters and it was playing an FFVII clip to Faye Wong's Eyes on Me! In Xi'an! Of all places!

ZOMG! Just finished a d/l binge from nana-nana.com and j-pop-rock.com. *melt (Go to the latter for Olivia songs Ann-san). My internet is crawlingly excruciatingly slow as a result of this. Thank god next month is only a few days away! v^^v

Today at work i got harassed by an obaasan who wanted a further discount on a shirt that was already on sale but she thought that she had the rights to a further price reduction because there was a line through the tag and that she's a loyal/veteran customer.

She almost reduced me to tears (can u believe it??) until her companion (a nicer obaasan) touched my hand and told me not to worry. It made me wonder, why did i have to care anyways? I'm much stronger than that. humpft!

Anyways, she made the biggest scene and made me call up the store manager over the PA (which i stuttered through in the most embarrassing way) to personally come to the fitting rooms to resolve it.

Just because she's mean, i'm glad that she wasn't given the extra discount.



Damn i feel BOOORED right now!!! I'm not working next week (yaay!v^^v) I don't know what to do with all this free time though. It feels so bad to mop around the house but it feels equally bad to spend hours walking around outside doing nothing in particular.

Why was i more nervous and then excited this year than last year???


At work this morning, a girl was crying because she thought she didn't make it into any courses at uni. Then I told her that the results comes out TONIGHT at 9...

OMG! I'm 19!! I feel old... T___T
What the hell? Some ppl my age are already super stars (Lindsay Lohan, Rihana, Hilary Duff) while i'm still fretting over if UAC results (comes out tomorrow night...extremely nervous right now).


I cut fringe too short and straight. Wait..no..one side is longer than the other. Either ways, i've got fucked up hair ONCE AGAIN.

The thing about beging a new blog that annoys me is trying to learn all the gizmos about how to change/edit/personalise the layouts and everything. Or maybe i'm the only one having trouble because i never really understood the workings of CSS.


ON ANOTHER NOTE.....I finally realised that Nobuta means wild pig in Japanese. =.="
Having watched most of series in japanese with dubbed Chinese(my chinese is crap. I only understand half the plot), i don't really understand why anyone name their kid wild pig! That's just down right atrocious.

I went to work without having dinner first tonight which proved to be a grave mistake because i had cramps all night.

My piano teacher was nice enough to pass 2 of my pieces although they weren't really well played. However she gave me THREE new ones T_______T
